A range can be named and then it is simpler to treat it as a single object. It could also be a table, or a record or field in a database when you have one set up in Excel.

I would say that there is no differences between Excel VBA and Access VBA. VBA is the acronym for visual basic for application and is the common language for the office suite. Excel vba gives you a native access to excel object (eg a worksheet, a cell, a range, etc.) but object of other applications can be made accessible via configuration (references). Access vba gives you a native access to access object.
It is the "Copy to" area or the extract range.
The Merge Cells option.
It is not possible to have multiple autofilters in one worksheet. What you can do is select your range(s) and convert them to a list/table by going to Data->List in Excel 2003 or Insert->Table in Excel 2007. This will give you the functionality of an autofilter, but it can be applied to several ranges within the same worksheet.
range
It can be called a worksheet. There is a range of actual spreadsheet programs, so people often refer to them directly, like Excel or Quattro or Works or Open Office or Lotus 123, instead of using the term spreadsheet.

When an Excel object is activated, it gains access to all the features and functionalities of Excel, allowing users to manipulate data, perform calculations, and utilize Excel's tools and features like charts, pivot tables, and formulas. This activation enables the object to respond to user inputs and integrate seamlessly with other Excel elements. Essentially, it opens up the full range of Excel's capabilities within that specific object context.
