Select the text means to choose a series of word(s).
To give a slanted appearance to text in a document, select the "Italic" command. This is typically found in the formatting toolbar of word processing software or can be accessed using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + I (Cmd + I on Mac). Italicizing text helps emphasize or differentiate it within the content.
Keyboard Command: Control (Ctrl) + CThe COPY command is used for just that - it copies the text or image you have selected and stores is on your virtual clipboard, until it is overwritten by the next "cut" or "copy" command.
After setting line spacing for something, select the next block of text you want to change and either press the F4 key or Ctrl - Y. F4 and Ctrl - Y are both shortcuts for the redo command, and can be used to redo anything.
Command name for copying text in microsoft windows is control plus c. This command can be used everywhere in windows for copying anything. You can also copy music, video, etc files.
To superscript text on a MacBook Air, you can use the keyboard shortcut by selecting the text you want to superscript and then pressing Command + Shift + + (the plus key). Alternatively, in applications like Pages or Microsoft Word, you can highlight the text, go to the Format menu, select Font, and then choose "Baseline" to select "Superscript."
The command used to replace a word or phrase with another in many text editing applications is typically called "Find and Replace." This feature allows you to input the word or phrase you want to change in the "Find" field and the new word or phrase in the "Replace" field. Once you execute the command, it will locate all instances of the original text and replace them with the new text as specified.
Selecting non-contiguous text is not a system wide feature of Mac OS X and needs to be implemented within each application. Applications such as Apple's TextEdit and Microsoft's Word do have the ability to hold down the Command key and select additional non-contiguous text but many applications do not include this option.
