Tertiary ColorsThe intermediate colors are the "two-name colors" yellow orange, red orange, yellow green, blue green, red violet, and blue violet. They are created by mixing the primaries in specific proportions according to their proximity to a primary color of red, yellow, and blue on the color wheel. For example, if an orange is closest to yellow on the color wheel it means that it has more yellow in it and therefore looks like a yellowish orange. The orange that is next to the red on the color wheel has more red in it and therefore appears to look reddish.Sometimes the intermediates are referred to as tertiary colors. The tertiary colors are not the same as intermediates as they are created by mixing the secondary colors. For example, orange and purple make russet, orange and green make citron, and purple and green make olive. So really the intermediate colors are yellow orange, red orange, yellow green, blue green, red violet, and blue violet.
because, yellow and pink surfaces emit green and red light(pink) or green and blue for yellow. White light shines green, red an blue light. So they are all reflected, making the surface its color. Green lasers only emit green light so only the green is reflected so the surface looks green.
yellow or orange
Assuming you are making these colours from primary colour paints...Orange can be formed by mixing red and yellow. If it looks too dark, mix yellow; if it looks too light, mix red. You can also use black and white to alter the shades.Yellow is a primary colour itself, so it should be available itself already. If you meant yellowish-orange...Again, assuming you are using primary colour paints, you would first mix red and yellow to form orange as mentioned above. To make it look lighter and more yellowish, add a few more tinges of yellow to your mixture. This will create a nice, smooth yellowish-orange colour - just what you need.

A yellow shirt in red light would appear to take on a more orange hue due to the way light interacts with different colors. The red light would mix with the yellow of the shirt, creating the appearance of orange.
