What do you press to complete a cell entry?

A number of keys can do it. The Enter key on the numeric keypad or the Return key on the main keypad will do it. The Tab key will do it. Any of the 4 arrow keys will do it. There are also a few special key combinations, such as Ctrl-Return to enter one value into multiple cells.

If it is just one cell then right click on the cell and it will bring you up options of how to edit it. If it is more than one cell and they adjoin then highlight the cells you want to edit and right click again to see the options

Once youve completed placing the data (i.e. numbers) in a spreadsheet cell you can use either the enter key to move (normally down a cell) or use the navigation keys (those between the number pad and the qwery keysbord) o move away or use a mouse button and left click on another cell. All will leave the last enterd cell with the data youve put and and allow you to be ready to place new data in a new cell

Both the right arrow key and the tab key will completely an entry and move to the cell to the right. One exception is if you have more than one cell selected, in which case the tab key will move to the next selected cell, though the right arrow will still move one cell to the right.

Press the Esc key or click on the X beside the tick at the start of the Formula bar.

When editing the content of a cell you can use the End key to get to the end of the data and then type in what you need. Then press Enter to enter the data.
