Paste: Ctrl + V
On Windows, it is Ctrl + V. On Macs it is Apple + V
The command to paste is almost always CTRL + V.
ctrl + v on macs command + v
[Ctrl] -------> [V]
Try control plus V
That's the first step to move the selected text or graphics. To go into a bit more detail, Ctrl-X is the "Cut" command. It erases the selected text, graphics, etc., from the document, and places it in a temporary storage. You can then recover this later - somewhere else in the document - with the "Paste" command (the shortcut is Ctrl-V).
If the Ctrl + V command keeps repeating, it may be due to a stuck key or a software glitch. First, check if the Ctrl or V key is physically stuck by pressing them a few times. If that doesn't resolve the issue, try restarting your computer or closing any applications that may be malfunctioning. If the problem persists, consider checking your keyboard settings or updating your keyboard drivers.
It is because Ctrl+P is reserved for print. The use of Ctrl+V may be to make sure that the undo, cut, copy and pate function keys are adjacent to each other.
Right click with the mouse, then select 'Paste'. The Ctrl-V hotkey does not work.
