A throttle plate is a component in an internal combustion engine that regulates the amount of air entering the engine's intake manifold. It is typically controlled by the accelerator pedal; when the pedal is pressed, the throttle plate opens, allowing more air to flow in, which increases engine power and speed. Conversely, when the pedal is released, the throttle plate closes, reducing airflow and engine power. This mechanism is crucial for controlling engine performance and efficiency.
The throttle plate is inside the throttle body on the intake manifold. The throttle cable from the accelerator peddle is connected to the throttle plate shaft on the throttle body. If you remove the air cleaner hose at the throttle body, you will see the disc shaped plate.

A throttle position sensor measures the angle of the throttle plate.
no
In the throttle body.
The throttle position sensor is located on the throttle plate.
It is on the throttle plate right across from the throttle cable.
Generally on one end of the throttle plate shaft, opposite the throttle cable side.

on the side of throttle body at throttle plate!!
the sensor is black an it is on the side of the throttle body at throttle plate!!
