A typical EULA will list various restrictions on the usage and distribution of the software. The most common restrictions are:

* Limits on the number of computers you can install it on. * Prohibition from using it for a certain purpose (commercial, espionage, weapons of mass destruction, etc...). * Prohibition of making unauthorized copies. * Prohibition from reverse-engineering or disassembling. An EULA will also contain warranty and liability information ('You may not hold x company responsible for loss of life' and 'This product only warrantied for 90 days').
