If you have more than one cell selected and type something and then press Ctrl-Enter, it will put what is typed into all the selected cells. So it can be used as a quick way of filling a lot of cells or copying a formula into a range when it is entered, rather than copying it separately afterwards. If just one cell is selected, then after pressing Ctrl-Enter the same still will still be active, rather than moving to a different cell.
Ctrl-comma does not do anything in Excel. Ctrl ' copies from the cell above and Ctrl `switches to and from the formula view.

With Excel on a Mac a line break is entered by adding the Command (cmd) key to the other two - cmd alt enter. The Command key may be replaced by the Control key (ctrl) in some versions of Excel - It's a Microsoft thing.
Use Ctrl and Page Up or Ctrl and Page Down to switch between open worksheets.
Click on a cell and type in what you want to enter.
Pressing the spacebar by itself does not do anything special in Excel, except enter a space. In conjunction with other keys, it does a lot more. Ctrl-Spacebar selects and column and Shift-Spacebar selects a row for example
