The IEEE 802.11a specification applies to the 5 GHz frequency band. The U-NII has the ranges blocked in at 5.15 to 5.25 GHz, 5.25 to 5.35 GHz, 5.47 to 5.725 GHz and 5.725 to 5.825 GHz. Throughput is in spec'd at 27 MBits/second. Below you'll find links for more information.
None. They refer to different things. Megabyte refers to space or capacity. Gigahertz refers to speed.
Answer - In short YES, and is only slightly lower than the 2.6 ghz that is recommended. There may be other specification that may be important, so Google "Minecraft PC requirements" to get better description of the all the requirements. Or scroll down to sources and click on link provided.
It is closer to 2 GHz.

CPU speed is measured in megahertz MHz and gigahertz GHz. Your typical processor is going to be in GHz if you have a super computer then it will be in MHz. The CPU speed can be deceiving so make sure you do your research on them.
0.4 GHz
It isn't a GHz yet... you need 1024 MHz to make 1 Ghz
