The MacBook Pro 15 features a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with 6MB of shared L3 cache and Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.3GHz. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 processor boosts performance by up to 60 percent.
The $1,199 13" Macbook Pro comes with a 500 GB hard drive. The $1,499 13" Macbook Pro come with a 750 GB hard drive. The 15" models come with the same amount.
Yes
Either the MacBook Pro or the MacBook Air has its share of features that makes it distinct from each other, but it doesn't necessarily mean that either laptop is superior. If you are looking for long battery life, a light and slim form factor, and storage space isn't a high priority, then the MacBook Air is for you. If you are looking for a sharp display (especially the Retina versions), larger form factor (ie: 15" screen), a high-end CPU/GPU, and plenty of storage, then the MacBook Pro is for you.
The least expensive MacBook has all of the features of a regular MacBook, but only comes with an i3 processor. This means the computer will run a bit slower than a more expensive MacBook. If you don't get a MacBook Pro, you will not have access to any "pro" versions of the applications such as QuickTime. You will have to buy those separately :) As far as I know, the only MackBooks available to the general public are the Air, the Pro, and the Pro with Retina. All models come with either an i5 or an 17 processor, and either 4GB of RAM or 8GB of RAM. The major differences between all models boils down to storage and graphics cards. The Airs have Solid State drives in 64GB or 128 GB for the 11" model to 128GB or 256GB for the 13". The MacBook Pro gets a serious graphics card (for CAD, 3D design, hard-core gaming) in the 15" model. If an advanced graphics card is what you're after, I suggest going for the 15" Pro with the 8 gigs of RAM and the 750 gig hard drive.
The 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display was a popular model with a high-resolution screen, powerful performance, and sleek design. It has been replaced by newer models with updated features and technology.
If you have the 17 inch, it's bigger than the 15 inch. I don't know about you, but I like to have the largest screen possible when playing any game.

Gigabytes (GB) vary with the model of Macbook Pro you decide on. 13-Inch MacBook Pro has 4GB memory and a 500GB hard drive. 13-Inch MacBook Pro with Retina has 8GB memory and ranges from 128GB flash storage to 512GB flash storage. 15-Inch MacBook Pro with Retina has 16GB memory with either 256GB or 512GB flash storage. This information comes from the Apple Store website.
Someone can purchase a Macbook Pro 15 inch on Best Buy's website and it is also available for purchase from Apple. Out of the two stores, Best Buy seems to have the best prices.
The latest 15 inch MacBook Pro will support up to 4GB and the 17 inch version will support up to 8 GB of RAM.
It has recently come out with retina display, upgraded performance, keyboard, touchpad, etc. and a retina display. Unfortunately apple has removed the DvD drive to reduce the thickness. The thickness of the Mac Pro retina is equivalent to the thickest point of the Macbook Air. But all those features make the price tag go above 2K.
