Special Identity Groups
Factors such as social identity, group norms, and group cohesiveness can influence a person's behavior within a membership group. These factors can affect how individuals conform to group expectations, engage in group activities, and identify with the group's goals and values. People may modify their behavior to align with the group or seek acceptance and approval from other group members.
When a group is called a membership association, it means that they have to pay to be a part of the group. Buying into the association means that there are certain privileges.
Caste system
Gang membership and racism are very related because racism is a group of people who don't like another race, and gang membership is a group of people who don't like another group and have their own turfs and dislikes of something. They both are the perspectives of a group of people.
