To stop a program from running at startup in Windows 8.1, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager. tha other people on here are stupid! ... you press CTRL SHIFT and ALT, and if that dont work you press CTRL SHIFT ALT AND the windows button (the flag icon thing) ;D
Because to press a button to shift a button is like pressing shift to press hard.
