nothing happens only it gets hot that you may not want to touch at all. but thing get in the oil, the oil can start to smell and no way you want to get near that or touch because it will smell horrible?

Did you remove oil sending unit and install a oil pressure gauge in it's place and read it so you can rule out the gauge in the dash and sending unit ? If not, then do it. Then if you don't have oil pressure. Remove the oil pan and check the oil pump pick-up screen to see if it is stoped up, if it is replace oil pump and screen. If it's not then replace oil pump and screen anyway.
The oil pump pulls oil up from the bottom of the oil pan and pumps it through the passages in the engine to the bearings and hydraulic lifters (if any). The tube that goes from the bottom of the oil pump into the oil pan is covered with a screen to keep out any potential large "chunks" of anything that got into the engine. The screen is called a sump screen and can usually be cleaned and re-used when the pump is replaced, provided that the screen is still in good shape.
