The ~ key is above the tab key in most keyboards. If you are looking for the ~ on top of the N for the Spanish letter ñ there is no specific key. The ñ can be typed in most fonts on a PC (Windows) computer by pressing and holding the ALT key then pressing the numbers 164 on the key pad to the right of the keyboard (not the numbers above the letters). Ñ is done with ALT+165 On a Mac computer, press and hold the ALT key then press n then release the ALT key and press n again for the ñ. Press SHIFT N for the Ñ. In some languages there are tildes above other letters. There are similar codes for these letters.
