If it's plugged in when you do, something will normally short out, basically breaking the keyboard. If it isn't plugged in, you can normally let it dry out for a few days and it should be fine.

It really depends how much and where. If it is a average size cup, and you spill it on your keyboard, it should be fine just clean it and let dry. If you spill it and it gets inside your case, and comes in contact with the power supply or your motherboard; it could cause a short and render your p.c. useless.
