MHz stands for Mega Hertz.

Hertz or Hz is unit for frequency and is represented by inverse of time unit i.e. second(-1) i.e. 1/second or per second.

Frequency = 1/ time period in seconds

1MHz is 10^6 or 1000000 Hz.
