There is nothing special about a 1984 penny, so its just 1 cent. There are a few 1984 pennies that are referred to as double ear 1984s and from what I have found they are worth about 3,500.00 The ear lobe looks like it has two ear lobes or an extra long one.
The penny is a miss print and is worth 30-40 dollars
To determine if a 1984 penny has a double ear, examine the image of Lincoln on the obverse side closely, particularly the area around his ear. A genuine double ear error will show a noticeable doubling or a clear second outline of the ear. Use a magnifying glass or jeweler's loupe for better clarity. If you see this distinct doubling, it may be a valuable error coin; otherwise, it is likely a normal penny.
