Start > Control Panel > Display Icon Or you can right click anywhere on the desktop (not on an icon), and select properties.

In start menu properties change Music from link to menu then apply. If it is menu change to link. After you have done this go back and set which one you prefer.
go to your photos and click display
Go to the dashboard - on the left had side you see the appearance tab about half way down - hover over it - move across to the right and click on menu - that will take you to the menu display.
Through right click on desktop then properties and then go display properties you can reset it
