The screen monitor. i like my answer dont you. woo hoo woo hoo.
It is called a touch pad and works with pressure. As you press the pad and move your finger it will move the arrow/pointer on the screen.
touchpad
You will be least sensitive to pressure originating from the proprioceptors in your joints and muscles. These receptors are responsible for detecting body position and movement, and are not as sensitive to external pressure compared to touch receptors in the skin.
Actually it's called a Graphics Tablet. Its like the touch sensitive pad on a laptop that controls the mouse... except it is a lot more sensitive and is significantly bigger in size.
Most laptops already have an alternative for a mouse. Some have a mouse pad or touchpad area. Moving a finger around in the touchpad works the same as moving a mouse. Others have a pointing stick in the keyboard, usually between the G H and B keys. It works like a little joy stick. There will also be some buttons below them that work as mouse buttons. Some alternatives to a mouse include a joy stick and a trackball. A trackball is like an upside down mouse where a ball is moved around by the hand. Some laptops also have touch sensitive screens (like an ipad or android) removing the need for a separate pointing device.
Cordless keyboards and mice use wireless signals (usually either radio or bluetooth) to communicate with a receptor (usually a small usb stick that plugs into a USB port on your computer) in your computer. They are very practical if you don't like to have cords running on your desk or don't have cords that are long enough to reach where you would like to place the mouse and keyboard.
A "touch pad" a common device found on laptops.
An optical mouse works just like a regular mouse in that it is used to click on various things on the computer monitor. The only difference is that optical mouses can be used without a wire which makes for easier access.
The 3 common pointing devices are the mouse, trackpad, and stylus. A mouse is a handheld device that moves a cursor on a screen by detecting motion. A trackpad is a touch-sensitive pad on laptops that functions like a mouse. A stylus is a pen-like tool used on touchscreens for more precise input than fingers.
Pointing Stick
Huh? Im guessing wildly. First thing i thought of was valve.
One can change the look of their mouse cursors on the computer by setting it up in the control panel area where they can click the mouse icon, then by clicking the mouse properties and then select the type of cursor as they wanted it to look like.
