Starter solenoid?
Maybe on the top of the starter - follow the + battery cable it will connect to the starter relay (solenoid)
Follow the + battery cable from battery should connect to starter solenoid (relay)
The starter relay switch is attached to the short positive battery cable; just follow it to the starter relay. I hope this helps you. Mark
Dead battery?Loose or corroded battery cables?Loose ground cable?Bad starter solenoid?Bad starter?Neutral switch?Ignition switch?
Low battery? starter? starter solenoid? Battery cable loose or dirty? Seized engine? Neutral switch?
The battery cable on the positive side goes to the starter. The purple wire goes from the ignition switch to the neutral safety switch then down to the starter. On the solenoid the is a "R" and that is where the wire from the coil goes. The "R" means resistor
There isn't one. The main battery cable goes to the solenoid which then activates the starter from current from the ignitiion switch.
when your battery is good and starter doesn't turn over engine. try with booster cables directly from battery to starter to eleminate bad ground or positive wire connections.positive cable to positive connection on starter and ground cable to ground on starter and with jumper wire from positive connection on starter touch it to connector on starter from ignition switch . if your starter doesn't turn over , than you have a non working starter.
Loose or corroded battery cable? Bad starter solenoid? Ignition switch?
Could be bad starter starter solenoid Weak Battery Bad/loose battery cable Neutral switch if automatic Seized engine
check the ignition switch...the electrical switch that the key controls..:) There are 2 large lugs or terminals on the solenoid, you may have your positive cable connected to the one that goes directly to the starter and that is why is turns over whenever you connect the other cable. Look at the solenoid and connect your pos cable to the terminal that is farthest away from the starter or that does not have a cable leading into the starter body. The smaller wire should go between the two larger ones
Bad starter solenoid? Jump the small trigger wire to the starter cable -if it turns over probably a bad solenoid Check all cable for corrosion and tightness Bad starter? Bad neutral or clutch safety switch?
