When the tabs of the sheets in your workbook do not all fit in the area provided for them due to the combination of the number of sheets and the size of their names, you can scroll through the tabs using the buttons to the left of the tabs area. They look sort of like this: |â—„ â—„ â–º â–º|. The middle two buttons shift the visible tabs left and right one tab at a time. The far left button makes the first tab visible, and the far right button makes the last tab visible.
You can also jump to the next sheet by pressing PgDn while holding the Ctrl key, and you can jump to the previous sheet by pressing PgUp while holding the Ctrl key.

The sort button is on the Home tab. I am not aware of a group button in Excel.

Right-click a link and click on Open in New Tab. If you have a mouse with that scrolling wheel, press on the wheel while the mouse is on a link.
I don't know of an available button, but if you hold down the "Ctrl" button and click on the "home" icon, a new tab will open.
