In a building structure that has three floors plus the basement after saying that as this example:

  • The Vertical Cross Connect is a Rectangle shaped connecting device to be able to wire cables from the MDF (Main Distribution Frame Vertically up a wall to all the other workstation that you are trying to interconnect with.

NOW AFTER SAYING THAT:

  • while the cables are being vertically ran up the wall from the basement's Main Distribution Frame and in order to connect the workstation on each floor, each floor would have a connect to connect the wires coming from the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) which is called HCC (Horizontal Cross Connect) and it is a small square shaped connector which connects the wiring to all the workstations on each floor which is called Interconnecting.
