What is a web designer?

Answer 1

A website designer - often referred to as a web coder - is a person who works with website languages (such as HTML, PHP, JavaScript, etc) and / or website design software (such as ColdFusion, Dreamweaver, etc) to create a website. There is no set specifications of a "Web designer", as the term is often used in slang to refer to someone who owns, and has created, a website of some sort - so there is no safe way to go in-depth about what a true website designer is, except for the above.
