What is better a Dell or a MacBook Pro?

Some people prefer Dell and others prefer MacBook Pro. Here are some opinions:

• Most certainly Macbook pro.
• MacBook Pro is better than Dell. MacBook Pro is faster than Dell.

Well, if your looking at the IDENTICAL specifications then the Mac will almost always be more expensive.....up front.

But.... if you look a little bit more then you will see why the Apple product is a bit more expensive. Apple makes the Computer AND the Operating System. So they have better control of the operating system working on a known computer hardware.

Windows has to work with dozens if not hundreds of different hardware manufacturers. Microsoft just makes the software, the Operating System.

Where as the computer manufacturers like, Dell, Hp, Gateway, Acer, etc, all have to make Windows work with their hardware. So if the manufacturers don't keep an eye on quality control then that's when problems happen.

Right now some of the computer tech people have done surveys on how long people kept their computers and people have held onto Apple's computers the longest of all the different computer manufacturers.

So basically if you are going to keep the computer for more then a few years Apple would be the more efficient one to get for the long run and if you are looking to turn the computer around every year or two then a Windows computer would be the one to buy.

This is just based on the "Average" computer user. The "Geeks" that know how to build there own can often save a LOT more money building their own computer from scratch and can "upkeep" there own problems as they come up.
