Communication Technology is devices like phones or anything that you can communicate with. It can even be with machines. It can also mean stuff about what technology USES to communicate. They would be 1g=analog signal, 2g=2nd generation (mobile network), 3G= 3rd generation mobile network, 3.5G= 3rd and a half mobile network, that would be in between 3G and 4G, and then 4G the newest mobile network, 3 times faster that 3G.
Communications Technology High School was created in 1988.

In general, "information and communications technology" is not capitalized unless it is part of a formal title or heading. When used in a sentence, it should be written in lowercase. For example, you would say "The field of information and communications technology is growing rapidly." However, if it appears in a title, such as "Information and Communications Technology: Trends and Innovations," it would be capitalized in that context.
