it depends if your gerbil or mouse is active or lazy if your mouse is lazy and your gerbil is active then the gerbil is probably faster but if your gerbil is lazy and your mouse is more active then your mouse will be faster so it depends!!!!!

I am almost sure that a dog runs faster than a rat, because a dog could take bigger leaps than a rat. Again, I am not exactly sure, but almost 90% sure.

It depends what you mean by faster ! Certainly a mouse can run faster than a snake can crawl - BUT - a snake's strike is faster than a mouse can react !
