For gaming AMD a8 quad core but for everyday use in office, school and businesses go with the intel core i5 ^___^
Intel Core i3 is faster even though they are both dual core processors. The i3 has multi-threading capability which lets it run two processes on one core versus one process per core the the Intel Core 2 duo. Bottom line: Intel core i3 is faster.
The Intel Core 2 Duo is a much faster Processor than an AMD Athlon x2 64. I have 2 Computers and the one that has the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor is much faster. I logged on to the other one and it takes time to warm up after you log on, so I did a test to see which one is faster. I started the Intel Core 2 Duo Computer after I logged on to the other one and I could start it up and use it in 1/2 of the time it took for the AMD Processor Computer to warm up after I had logged on. There is proof that the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor is The Superior Processor vs. an AMD Athlon x2 64 Processor.
The Intel chip is faster and is easier to overclock than the athlon.
No. The Pentium M is an older, 32-bit only processor. The Pentium Dual-Core is faster and supports 64-bit operation.
No. The Intel Core 2 Duo is much faster than the older Pentium 4.
A single core processor is just that... one processing core. A dual core processor is actually two processing cores on one chip. It is like having two processors in your system, but it is faster than two individual processors.
Intel Core Processor family
The Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 processor has high performance with multitasking and with most multi-threaded applications so it is much faster than other processors.
Intel Core 2 Duo or a QuadCore processor are typically the best way to go with a PC.
An Intel Pentium Dual Core processor is a CPU (Central Processing Unit) and is effectively the "brain" of most computers. The Pentium processor was most common in the early 21st Century and has subsequently been replaced with faster models.
AMD anthlon x2 dual core. AMD has more quality. Much faster and hold more space/memory. INTEL are OK, but bad. anything AMD is ALOT better!
Both. The Intel Core Duo was a 32-bit dual-core processor. The Intel Core 2 Duo is a 64-bit processor.
