Hold down the shift key and press the 3 key
It will make a # sign.
On the keyboard find the < sign and next to it put the number 3, making <3. This works on any standard keyboard.

The multiplication sign is located on the same button as the number eight. You can get to the multiplication sign by pressing Shift and the number eight key.
Alt+236=∞ (but it has to be the number pad on the side for 236 or it won't work)
on your keyboard there is a button above the addition and equals sign that says num lk. Press that button and you can type again with letters.
