The contents pane is the section between the Menu options on the left and the Preview pane on the right side.

How to close the "Preview Pane" in Windows Email Open your Windows Email. Click on "Inbox". At the top of your screen click on "View". Scroll down that menu to "Layout" and click on it. Scroll down that menu and uncheck the box/circle that reads "Show preview pane". Click on "Apply" and it will immediately disappear. Click on "OK" and it will do the same thing, but you will have to shut down Windows Email before the change takes place. When you re-open Windows Email there should be no more preview panes. There could be several reasons why there is no image in your preview pane. It might be due to a file format that is not supported, a corrupted image file, or issues with the software settings. Additionally, ensure that your internet connection is stable if the image is being loaded from an online source. Lastly, check if there are any updates needed for your application or device that could resolve the issue.
Import your media items (pictures, video, music). Drag them down into the tracks of the Time-line or into the Storyboard. Click Play in the Preview pane to see the results.
Windows Explorer, now known as File Explorer in recent versions of Windows, typically has two main panes: the navigation pane on the left, which allows users to browse through folders and drives, and the main pane on the right, which displays the contents of the selected folder. Additionally, users can choose to open multiple File Explorer windows, allowing for more panes if needed for multitasking. Some versions may also include a details pane or preview pane for additional information about selected files.
Use the Split feature (below the Preview Pane in the 2.6 version of Windows Movie Maker).Split away the audio you don't want in the Time-line.
If Windows Movie Maker does not show your video in the Preview pane, then it is not in the correct format for the program. Sometimes the audio works, but the video doesn't. That means the file is partially compatible -- at least the audio portion is. Check to see what file name extension (format) the video is in. Right-click the file and choose Properties from the drop-down menu. Note the file type. If it is not one compatible with Windows Movie Maker, then it will not show in the Preview pane.
