A rowlock is the same--no matter what the database. SQLServer, Oracle, Informix, Tandem, etc. A database's management system, along with the Database Administrator, is responsible for "data integrity". Here's the scenario for a rowlock: Susan is responsible for updating the "sales" table for the day's previous sales activity. Since there are not many updates, she sometimes does the inserts/updates during core business hours. One of the current rows in the "sales" table needs the data updated. The database puts a "rowlock" on this row in this table until the update is committed. If Gina is doing a query (read only) on the "sales" table at the same time Susan is updating it, the row that is being updated is "locked" and Gina will see the "before image" of the row. Once Susan commits the update the row is no longer locked and, if Gina runs her query again, she will see the update.
a rowlock (UK) or an oarlock (US).
using php
A rowlock or oarlock (US) is a brace that attaches an oar to a boat. When a boat is rowed, the rowlock acts as a fulcrum, and, in doing so, the propulsive force that the rower exerts on the water with the oar is transferred to the boat by the thrust force exerted on the rowlock.
either or. they both mean the same.
An oar pin is also called a rowlock pin or a thole.
Some examples are SQLServer , MySQL, Orcle
theoretically you can create 32,767 databases, but practically it depends on server configuration
Masonry units can be laid in several positions. For example, think of a pair of dice. Each face has a separate number on it. A brick is similar, but there are only 3 faces that are different sizes (since the direct oposite side is the same dimension) and each of those faces can be installed in two directions for a total of six different positions. These positions are called stretcher, header, rowlock, shiner, soldier, and sailer.http://www.oldvirginiabrick.com/technical/varied_brick_positions.HTML
By SQL Server I am assuming you are referring to Microsoft's flavour of SQL. No. There is no version of SQL Server that runs on Linux
what is the difference between sqlplus and sqlsever SQL*PLUS is oracle command line utility that allows access to Oracle databases sqlserver is a Microsoft RDBMS (database management system), vaguely based on a Sybase RDBMS if you are looking for SQL*PLUS like interface to SQL Server, the one one is SQLS*PLUS from www.memfix.com
It's a mechanical force exerted through a lever called an oar, acting through a fulcrum called a rowlock attached to the side of the boat. The rower pulls the oar towards the bow of the boat, which causes the other end of the oar to push back on the water. The water tends to stay where it is and there is a net forward force on the rowlock, which pushes the boat forwards.
It really depends on how you obtained the file if it was a download chances are it was created with Alcohol 120% as some sort of an image file. Otherwise if you were browsing your computer and were just curious about the file .Mdf is typically used by MSSQL (Better known as Microsoft SQLServer). So to answer your question the 2 major culprits in this would be either Alcohol 120% or Microsoft SQLServer. Hope this helps!
