640 x 480
640 x 480
Most BIOSs output their display at the standard VGA resolution (640 x 480).
Standard VGA Resolution all depends on your screen size my default for my desktop is 1280 by 720 and my parents desktop is 1152 by 864. so check the resolution on the monitor to sell what the default and max Resolution is.
it is 900x600
HDMI and VGA are both video interfaces capable of carrying computer display data to a monitor. HDMI is digital, VGA is analog. HDMI is NOT inherently better than VGA. Each will support a wide range of screen resolutions and it is the screen resolution and color depth that affect the image quality rather than the interface used. Choose a graphics card that supports the resolution you need and make sure it has the output you need to connect to your monitor.
640x480
VGA means a resolution of x = 640 to y = 480 pixel on displays/screens. A quarter of the VGA's resolution is called QVGA (Quarter VGA, 320x240 pixel).
The VGA cable that you would use to connect a laptop to a projector screen is called a PS2 projector cable.
it is probably saying the set resolution is one the monitor does not support. press f8 before boot and select enable vga mode for xp or low vga resloution for vista or boot into safe mode for previous OS and manually change res.
A display that measures at least 640x480 pixels is commonly referred to as a VGA (Video Graphics Array) resolution screen. This resolution provides a minimum of 307,200 pixels, allowing for a basic level of detail and clarity in images and text. VGA displays are often used in older computer monitors, projectors, and some embedded systems. Modern displays typically exceed this resolution for better quality.
VGA is an interface for connecting a monitor (as well as a specific resolution used in the earliest cards and monitors to implement it). AGP is a bus on which a graphics card can be installed.
VGA supports up to 640x480
