The first track 0 on your hard drive stores your Master Boot Record (MBR), it's a very small code and it's only job is to direct the arms of your hard drive to the beginning of your operating system. It's from an old term "Pulling you up by your boots", it's pulling up your operating system.

There is no first number above 0. If x was considered to be the first number above zero then x/2 would be above zero but nearer to it. And then half that number would be above zero and nearer still. And so on.
