external fragmentation
Relocatable dynamic fragmentation is caused by the repeated allocation and deallocation of memory blocks of varying sizes, leading to small gaps that may not be reused efficiently due to mismatches in size requirements. Over time, this can result in a high level of fragmentation and a decrease in memory utilization efficiency.

Dynamic disks are hard drives which have been converted from basic hard drive to dynamic disks. They can be converted using Windows 2000 or more recent releases. Dynamic disks offer significant advantages over traditional basis disks such as high read write speeds and no limitations of partition quantities or sizes. Once converted the partitions on the dynamic disk can be managed using software such as partition wizard
If there is an unallocated space on your disk, you can create partition directly with this unallocated space; if there is no unallocated space on your disk, you should first shrink a comparatively larger partition to get an unallocated space, then create partition
Through the Diskpart Utility you can delete dynamic volumes. This utility can be found in the Windows 7 installation disk or the Windows 7 recovery disc.
learning-by-doing
You will have to add additional hard drive and create dynamic volume which will allow you to add your new hard drive to a current partition. No, I mean use the free space of one partition to extend the non-contiguous partition, I learned AOMEI Partition Assistant could do this operation, here is the tutorial : disk-partition.com/help/align-partition.html
If there is no data on dynamic disk, you can take this method: delete all volumes, and then convert dynamic disk to basic disk by using system built-in disk management tool. If important data are stored on dynamic disk, you had better resort to MiniTool Partition Wizard if you want to convert dynamic disk to basic disk quickly and safely. MiniTool Partition Wizard can help convert dynamic disk to basic disk without influencing original data, and few operations are needed. For more information, please see Convert Dynamic Disk to Basic Disk.
