in terms of their use
Plain text has only the text of the document, without any formatting. "Rich text" also includes information about the document formatting, such as font, size, bold, italics, margins and so-on. Most word processing programs these days will read "RTF" - Rich Text Format - and format the document for you.
HTML
A plain text (.txt) file can be opened by any text based software so if the recipients do not have the Word software they can still read the text file.
Narrowly, "document" refers to a file containing text; more broadly, it can mean a spreadsheet or other file with material that can be read.
It is treated the same way as what the text between title tags is in a HTML document. It will appear in the title bar. It is not the actual name of the file.
To convert a text document into a QVM file, you typically need to use a specific software or tool that supports the QVM format, as this format is often associated with certain applications, such as QlikView. First, you would prepare your text document by ensuring it contains the necessary data structured appropriately. Then, use the conversion tool or software to import the text file and export or save it as a QVM file. Be sure to consult the documentation of the specific software for detailed steps and requirements.
Creating an outline of a font is useful for many things, one being the document can be viewed on a computer that does not have the font. Once the font has been outlined it is art and no longer text. The best way to use this feature is to save an .ai file that is text, then after outlining save as a different name, creating 2 files, or keep text on a separate layer in the outline file.
