In the context of electronics and manufacturing, CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control, which refers to automated control of machining tools through computer programming. VMC stands for Vertical Machining Center, a type of CNC machine that uses a vertical spindle to perform operations like milling and drilling. HMC stands for Horizontal Machining Center, which uses a horizontal spindle for similar machining tasks. Both VMCs and HMCs are crucial in precision manufacturing, enabling the production of complex components with high accuracy.

You may need to narrow down your question- in the case of M1 carbines marked Quality HMC, they were made by the Quality Hardware Manufacturing Company. (OP here, narrowing it down here because of the silly policy of not allowing punctuation in questions... Basically, a gun range I occasionally visited in Durban runs courses, and their website lists various categories; Pistols, Shotguns, Rifles, HMC and so on. I'm wondering if it might be a local way of referring to SMGs or something.)
Honda went public on August 11, 1987 with the ADR (American Depository Receipt) ticker symbol HMC.
As of my last update in October 2023, McDonald's restaurants are not typically HMC (Halal Monitoring Committee) certified. However, some locations, particularly in regions with a significant Muslim population, may offer halal options or be certified by local halal organizations. It's always best to check with individual McDonald's locations for their specific halal offerings and certifications.
