256 tb
256 TB.
FAT16, FAT32, and NTFS.
As it is currently supported by the drivers in Windows, an NTFS partition can be no larger than 256 terabytes.
Ntfs, fat32
Windows 98 supports FAT filesystems only. Windows XP supports FAT and NTFS filesystems.
NTFS is the predominant file system although FAT is supported on XP.
Yes, Active Directory, NTFS permissions, and the Distributed File System (DFS) are supported in Windows Server 2003. However, BitLocker Drive Encryption is not available on Windows Server 2003; it was introduced later in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. Thus, while the other features you mentioned are supported in Windows Server 2003, BitLocker is not.
The 3 major file systems are FAT, FAT32 and NTFS
Largest file size is 4GB on FAT32. File size is virtually unlimited on NTFS.
Windows XP natively supports FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, and NTFS. Other file systems, such as HPFS, JFS, ext2/3, and ReiserFS can be supported through an IFS (Installable File System).
If you have Windows you already have ntfs. Windows doesn't use ext4 at all without IFS drivers.
Not natively, although there are programs that will allow you to read an NTFS partition.
