The nine internal hardware components typically refer to essential parts found within a computer system. These include the central processing unit (CPU), motherboard, random access memory (RAM), hard drive or solid-state drive (SSD), power supply unit (PSU), graphics processing unit (GPU), cooling system (fans or liquid cooling), optical drive, and network interface card (NIC). Together, these components enable the computer to process information, store data, and connect to networks.

This is any piece of hardware that is inside the computer case.Ie motherboard, cpu, hard drive, graphics card, memory etc..
A microprocessor runs and internal program called an operating system. For hardware functions such as input and output and memory allocation, the operating system acts as an intermediary between programs and the computer hardware.

what do you mean by internal memory ? Read only memory is a thing which acts as a interface between kernal and interfacing hardware... it helps passing orders from the kernal to the hardware and makes it work ! i guess this definitely fitting in the category of the internal memory but it is not used as a storing the user's data for his personal use ..!
If you mean, refitted with updated hardware ... yes, most certainly.
