A screen saver is the thing when you turn on your computer and it says internet. BUT the SCREEN SAVER is the thing BEHIND where it says internet. Like the picture.
It prevents the screen from having images burned into it.

Screen savers were developed to prevent a problem call ghosting, in wich images could be etched premanently on a monitors screen.

If your screen is running a screen saver, then you already have it. It is already saved on your system.
If you have a Windows XP or any other Windows program, exit out of everything, which leaves you with the desktop screen. Then you RIGHT click on the desktop screen. Go to properties and if you look at the top, there are little tabs that say: Themes Desktop Screen Saver Appearance Settings Well, apparently, the tab that you want to click on is the SCREEN SAVER tab.
To find the screen saver locations on an LG TV, go to the settings menu and look for the display or screen saver options. You may be able to customize or enable the screen saver from there.
To locate the Windows screensaver settings, right-click on the desktop, select "Personalize," then click on "Lock screen" and finally choose "Screen saver settings" at the bottom of the window.
From the Desktop & Screen Saver section of System Preferences select the Word of the Day screen saver from the Apple section in the left hand pane. This will display words from the Dictionary which can be found in the dictionary by pressing the D key.

Screen savers are changed in the Desktop and Screen saver section of the System Preferences. Select the desired screen saver in the left hand pane or tick the Use random screen saver box.
