A lot of young people (13-16 year olds) like having facebooks to be able to chat with their friends. People in their early adults (20ish) like having them to stay in touch with friends from college, high school, etc. In my opinion, people in their 30s and 40s should only have fbs. This is to stay in touch with old friends who are now spread out around the world. I strongly advise against fb unless you are in your 20s-40s because its unneccesary for teens to have fbs and then get in trouble for stupid posts and dumb comments. Plus, watch out. If you are applying for a job, your boss and collegues WILL check you out online. If they find something bad or inappropriate about you online (ex. on facebook) they WILL NOT hire you. Facebook is only good, in my opinion, for adults and I find it completely unneccesary for teens to have fbs. Unfortunately, most of my friends have fbs.
