For text,
You can use ctrl+A to select all , ctrl+C to copy and ctrl+V to paste it.
For folders or files,
You can use ctrl key and click the desired folders for alternate selection.
You can use shift key and click the starting folder and the ending folder to select the folders between those folders.
For example
These are the folders you want to select :
A
B
C
D
E
I will use ctrl key and click A, C and E to select only those folders.
I will use shift key and click A and then E to select A,B,C,D and E (all the folders).
I hope its clear for you !!

You accidentally created a shortcut to the image, without actually copying the image to your desktop. The image may have since been moved, which renders the shortcut broken, as you have changed the 'pathway' to the image. Open the folder the image is stored in, and drag and drop, or copy/paste to desktop. Delete shortcuts.
depends, if its like evolution, and saying that we changed from zebras, and then butterflies, than all the butterflies ran into the same tree and became human, than that would be copying, its the same thing, but if its something like an invention type of thing with a whole new purpose and function but keeping one thing the same, than it shouldn't copying, if it have the same purpose but everything else changed ,than it still shouldn't be copying................basically no.............my opinon
