You can place your graphics from Adobe Illustrator directly into Adobe InDesign. If you are using photographs instead of creating illustrations, use Adobe Photoshop to edit your photos. However, do not attempt to do the layout and typography in Adobe Photoshop - use Adobe InDesign for that.You could also do everything, including the layout and typography, in Adobe Illustrator. But a single-page flyer? Like a handbill or something? I think I'd just work up the photos in Photoshop, then do the layout directly in Illustrator. Flyers are pretty much pure display type, and you can really doctor up type in Illustrator.
