You can give them most kinds of seeds, any seed that a human would eat, such as sunflower, pumpkin, linseed, barley, wheat, oat etc.
Fancy (pet) mice are different from field mice, so they also require other vitamins, nutrients and some protein. A commercial rat food such as Burgess Suparat contains all of a mouses nutritional requirements.
Seeds too high in fat, such as peanuts or pine nuts, are bad for mice if fed regularly, so should be fed as a treat, if at all, on a very occasional basis. This is also why commercial hamster foods are not suitable for mice.
You can buy mouse and rat food at the pet shop. Rodents also like to eat fruit, vegies, seeds and bread. Your options are endless :P

A grey mouse, black mouse, white mouse, pet or wild, they all eat virtually the same stuff: seeds, nuts, fruits, some plants & insects.Pet mice don't have to eat insects, but if they do, don't just go out & grab bugs out of the garden, as that can make them sick. I fed the deer mice that I overwintered sunflower seeds, bird seed and pumpkin seeds (they really liked pumpkin seeds). I also provided them with hay that they sell in pet stores for rodents and rabbits.

Rats or mice whatever these eat just about anything most of the time seeds, bread, etc, etc
The deer mice eat seeds, fruit, insects, and nibble on dead things. They prefer an arrangement of seeds, however. These seeds include millet, which is actually for birds originally. I dont suggest keeping one as a pet, however as they're brain to body mass ratio is very low and the aren't very affectionate.
