Depends on a school, but to my mind the top list is:

1. Antiviruses (for example Avast) and firewalls to protect your PCs from malaware and children from adult and harmful information.

2. Programs, that allow to perform software and hadrware inventory, as pupils sometimes install unnecсcessary software or malaware or games. And they can take some hadrware from classroom. So, inventory process must be performed constantly

3. Programs that monitor internet traffic usage in order to know how much traffic you use and what students do during lessons (watch videos or download something, etc).

4. Programs to monitor school network, its devices. This help to prevent failuries

5. Software, that you need for lessons, students projects in general, for example Mic. Office, Photoshop, etc.

6. Specified software for teaching and learning process.
