ENIAC was the First computer that was used to store program.
The ENIAC used 160 kilowatts (160,000 watts).
ENIAC had neon lamps and oscilloscopes to show current machine state, but these were usually only used for test & debug purposes. The only real output device on ENIAC was one electromechanical IBM cardpunch that could punch 100 cards per minute, 8 ten digit numbers per card maximum.

The ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer) had approximately 17,468 vacuum tubes. These tubes were used as the primary electronic components for processing data and performing calculations. The use of vacuum tubes allowed the ENIAC to be significantly faster than earlier mechanical computers, though it also made the machine large and prone to frequent failures due to tube burnout.
ENIAC was the first general-purpose electronic computer. Calculating machines had been built before this, but they were mechanical, built for specific tasks and/or used gears to calculate numeric values. A proposal for the machine was written in late 1942 and submitted to the Army for calculating Artillery Firing Tables. ENIAC was built between 1943 and 1945. Its first real program, simulation of Edward Teller's Classical Super fusion bomb, was run in December 1945 and January 1946, used a million punched cards. The simulation showed this fusion bomb design to be not workable. ENIAC was publicly announced and demonstrated in February 1946 (prior to this it was a Top Secret project).
The ENIAC was designed to calculate artillery firing tables for the United States Army's Ballistic Research Laboratory, but it's first use was in calculations for the hydrogen bomb.
