168-pin SDRAM DIMM
SDRAM has 168 pins and two notches on the module.
It depends on what type of RAM it is. Each type of RAM has different notches to prevent you from installing the wrong type by accident.
DDR SDRAM has one notch and uses 184 pins.
Turn off the computer and unplug it from the power source to avoid electric shock. Handle the RAM module by its edges to prevent static electricity discharge, which can damage the component. Make sure the RAM is compatible with your motherboard and install it in the correct slot by aligning the notches. Avoid touching the gold contacts on the RAM module to prevent contamination and ensure a proper connection.

There are two filters on a Ram V8. Both are part of the fuel pump module, yes in the tank. One is on the bottom of the module. The other is built into the fuel pressure regulator on top of the module.

A 1999 Ram does not have a transfer case control module.
The notches simply serve to help make sure you don't put the stick in backwards when installing it onto the motherboard.
A motherboard's max RAM refers to how much TOTAL RAM it can handle. If it says the max is 2 GB than you would install two 1GB modules OR a single 2GB module.
