an arrow with a paint brush
It looks like a paintbrush.
Click on the cell that you want to take formatting from. If you click once on the Format Painter, you can then click on another cell and it will receive the formatting from the other cell and the Format Painter will be deactivated. If you double click on the Format Painter, then it is turned on until you click on it again, meaning you can apply formatting to lots of cells.
Yes. The Format Painter can take the formatting from one thing and paste it onto another.
A line with an arrow at each end.
Take your pointer finger and erect it. Take your opposite hand and put your pointer finger ontop of your your other pointer finger. Now take your thumb and place it at the knuckle of your erect pointer finger. You should now have somewhat of a "D" shape. Roughly that ammount in a small plastic sandwich bag with a pretty hefty depth in it too. Or its $5 short from an 1/8 oz
Take your pointer finger A and your other pointer finger B and stick them out like you are pointing.Put B over A in an X shape and move your hands up and down, but not all the way.
You may be referring to the format painter button, which has a little paintbrush on it. What it does is take the formatting from one cell or a set of cells, and applies it to other cells. So if you do something like put a number into a cell, bold it, colour the cell red, format the number to 2 decimal places and change the font size, that cell will have that formatting. To do the same for other cells may take some time. So what you can do is first select that cell and click on the format painter button. Then you would select a range of cells that you want to apply that formatting to. It will immediately format all the cells to be the same as the original one. It won't change any numbers or formulas in those cells, just change the formatting. So it is painting the formatting of one cell onto other cells.
Well i don't know gay but lesbian in sign language is a L shape across your chin so your thumb is on one side and pointer on the other side of your chin. Hope that helped! Put your thumb and your index finger (pointer) on your chin in a V shape (close together) and then take it off :) hope that helped
Fill formatting allows you to take just the formatting from a cell and put it into a load of other cells, similar to using the Format Painter. You could have a cell with particular formatting on it, and drag it down and pick just to take its formatting, not its value or formula, and fill that into the other cells.
First you make a gun like thing, with your pointer finger and thumb. (Both Hands) Next, you take your right pointer finger and connect it with your left thumb, after that you do the same with your left pointer to your right thumb. During this process you make your fists together, they have to be excatly matching (Your fingers are lined up in fists) Finally, it should be like an turned over hourglass shape. You could leave it like this OR curve it into an eight to make it the exact infinity sign.
