This can be caused my many different things such as low RAM is installed in your computer you can decide to get more RAM.
HHD is full and is not defragged maybe clean up a little bit or defrag it.
Too many programs a running at the same time so close some you don't need.
Clean out the dusk in the computer? it gather heat then the computer obviously don't want to over heat itself so it will slow down.
Do you have a old computer? if do, you should decide to get a new one, because old computer is likely to be more worn out and cannot keep up with new software
Worse case is you have a virus, get an anti-virus and have a good scan.
