Look up your comps factory capacity and maximum. Most will have 2 card slots and be using only one with less than that side can take. Most can take 2 gigs. (2 1 gig cards) If you have an extra slot, you can just buy a couple cards the same that equal max capacity and plug them in. As a rule of thumb you want at least 1 gig total and should rum the same amount on both sides so it is balanced. They sell the cards on Ebay and the ones for your model computer will have the right pin count etc so they plug in. When you do, your computer will instantly recognize it new capacity.

DDR RAM is the slowest type of RAM and can cause the computer to run slower
A person can tell if a Ram is affected or not by running a virus scan on the computer.
The type of RAM that a desktop computer uses depends upon the design of the specific motherboard that is installed in the computer. Refer to the specifications of the motherboard or of the computer manufacturer (i.e. Dell, HP) to determine the proper type of RAM for your computer.
DDR3 SDRAM stands for double data rate type three synchronous dynamic random access memory. It is used at the tempory memory a computer needs to operate. It is a faster version of the DDR2 RAM.
Yes RAM can be modified, but to be able to do so you need to get a stick of RAM or a RAM card which can be bought at most stores. A good place to find RAM would be a site called NewEgg.com. After you get the RAM card you will have to open up your computer case and find what are commonly known as expansion card slots. They will be noticeable, as they will be on the motherboard itself and will look like rectangular slots.
It depends on your computer itself. If your computer has enough RAM, the required graphics, etc. It does work on a Windows 7 though. On their site, I could not find the system requirements.
Nope it doesn't matter what kind of ram you have in your graphics card as they are used for different things What does matter is what type of slots your computer has. Mine, for example, has slots only for PCI cards and I must buy PCI. You can find out what type of slots your computer has by calling TigerDirect. Start with what type of graphics card your computer can use.
you need to see how much RAM your computer can hold, then what type for example DDR, DDR1 or DDR2, and what version for example pc3200 and then find some RAM and install it. be sure to wear an anti- static wrist strap to prevent any damage to the RAM.
RAM means Random Accessible Memory in computer talk but a ram can also mean a Dodge truck or type of bull.
If a PC has no RAM, the computer will not boot. So your answer is no files will run ... on a PC.
