What to do when a laptop's display gets spoilt?

Laptop LCD screens are expensive to replace once they are damaged. On eBay, Laptop replacement screens are readily available for just about every make and model. But usually, they cost more than simply buying a new laptop ... and on some laptops, screen replacement is very tricky and the LCD panels can easily be broken during installation. It is not recommended for anyone who is not experienced doing this type of repair work (due to the cost if you break the new LCD screen when installing it).

A simple solution is to plug a regular external monitor into your laptop's monitor connection. (I have done this). Of course, your laptop is now just a desktop.

Instead of trying to buy a new laptop display screen, a new laptop is in order for most people.

First you can see if you can try to fix it yourself because probably something from the computer screen and the key board screen is loose and you can try to screw it back up using a screw driver. Second you can take it to a repair shop and have them replace yuor screen with a brand new one,but depending on what type of computer you have the prices will range. Third and last thing you want to do is have them try to fix your screen, because having them fix you r screen cost just as much as a brand new labtop itself.
