Assuming you are talking about a desktop PC, there are 3 that i know of. PCI, AGP, and Integrated. PCI and AGP are different ways of attaching specific retail cards. Integrated cards are attached to your motherboard and are difficult to remove. not all PC's can support all 3 card types.
